Summary
Emily currently serves as a Clinical Project Coordinator for the Nevada Center for Excellence (NCED) in Disabilities. Her role is with the Facility-Wide MTSS project. Her role is to support the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Support within alternative sites such as juvenile justice facilities and psychiatric residential treatment facilities. Moreover, Emily supported the Nevada System of Care Direct project, providing intensive behavioral support to Nevada youth affected by dual diagnosis. Additionally, she has worked on the Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies grant project. Emily provided clinical coordination, behavior assessment, and support to children prenatally exposed to drugs and alcohol. She also co-facilitated evidence-based parenting classes with the option for behavior support plans for children. Emily earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Developmental Disabilities and an MS in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, Reno. Previously, Emily worked approximately 10 years in the field of behavior analysis, and her roles have spanned from implementing early intensive behavioral intervention services with autistic children, conducting basic behavior analytic research with mice, to assisting in clinical psychology research.
