Summary

Lesley Gomez is an MTSS Data Integration Specialist for the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities, located within the College of Education and Human Development. Her primary role is to partner with school leadership teams to evaluate and sustain Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) through technical assistance and training across Nevada.

Gomez is working toward becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and receiving her master’s degree from À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, Reno in applied behavior analysis in special education in 2022. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in 7-12 education conferred in 2020 from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. 

Her previous experience includes providing parent training through both Positive Behavior Support-Nevada and Healthy Home Life, working as a school district’s MTSS external coach and teaching in the classroom. 

She holds a Nevada Instructional License in secondary education and a Texas Educator license in English language arts and reading grades 7-12. Gomez's additional training includes SWIS/ISWIS Data Systems Facilitator.
